Electronics, Computer & Communications course structure

Our programme equips you with both hands-on skills and academic knowledge to become a competent and versatile engineering professional. We offer you a solid engineering foundation with the flexibility to choose from seven elective programmes, equipping you with in-depth expertise to excel in the field of your choice!
In the first two years, you will gain broad-based knowledge in electronics, computer and communications engineering. You will also develop skills in business, technopreneurship, entrepreneurship, as well as emerging areas such as micro- and nanotechnology, and clean energy. You will even learn a foreign language.
In the final year, you can choose from one of the following seven elective programmes:
  • Green Technology
  • Wireless Communications
  • Embedded System Design
  • Wafer Fabrication Technology
  • Automation Design
  • Telematics System
  • Aerospace Electronics

Coure Aims:
The course will equip graduates with :
  • a strong foundation in electronics and infocomm technologies;
  • specialist skills in one of the 6 above-mentioned final year elective areas;
  • abilities to develop their creative and innovative thinking skills, product creation skills and systems/technologies integration skills.
Duration : 3 academic years on a full-time basis.
